Nodee Barcode has served Chinese culinary dishes since 2003. In September 2016, we moved to a new location on the 1st floor at Barcode in Bjørvika, Oslo. Following this move, we opened a new restaurant with its own unique concept on the 13th and 14th floor - Nodee Sky - which specializes in Modern Japanese fine dining. Nodee Barcode provides an unique culinary experience of the Chinese kitchen. The combination of traditional techniques and fresh ingredients will bring you the finest of the Szechuan and Cantonese culinary world.

Dim Sum

The term “dim sum” comes from the Chinese dialect Cantonese, and translates to “touching heart” - order what your heart desires.

Dim sum is traditionally made of different combinations of sweet and sour, vegetables, seafood and fruit, steamed or fried. Usually served in small steamed baskets or on small plates.

We have dedicated dim sum chefs who bakes, packages, and steams them daily in house. In this way, we preserve the traditional taste.

Peking duck

We have Scandinavias only specialty oven dedicated to the Chinese culinary dish - Peking Duck.

Tender and tasty meats and crispy skin - a classic. Here, we prepare the peking duck for 24 hours before cooking it in the oven. Thinly cut and served in the traditional way; with wheat pancakes, vegetables and hoisin, or try the head chefs creative twist.

Wok

«Wok» is the Cantonese word for “Cooking Pot”. Wok is a thin frying pan where your quickly prepare the food under flaming hot temperatures. The result is juicy and aromatic meats with crunchy vegetables.

Questions and answers

 

  • During hectic periods in the restaurant, we unfortunately have to temporary pause online ordering for takeaway.

    Feel free to visit one of our sister restaurants; Tatakii Asian, Südøst or Dinner for take away.

  • We have no lower order limit on delivery or takeaway.

  • Our goal is to be able to deliver within 60 minutes. In most cases we are able to deliver before this goal.

    If the delivery is expected to be later than the agreed time due to special conditions such as heavy traffic, obstruction due to weather, etc. - you will be contacted by the driver and informed about this well in advance.

  • We experience a great demand for takeaway in the period from 17.00-20.00. The delivery time in this period will thus take a minimum of 75 minutes after confirmed order.

    If we are able to deliver earlier than expected, you will be contacted and informed by the driver in advance.

  • We deliver to most districts in Oslo and some areas in Bærum. See updated postal codes below.

  • We accept Visa, Diners Club, Mastercard and American Express. After you have made your payment by card, the amount will be reserved in your account after we have confirmed the order.

  • Unfortunately, our gift cards cannot be used for online take away orders.

    If you wish to use the gift card for take away, please contact us by phone or email.

  • If we under different circumstances have to cancel your order or you need to cancel the order by yourself, the reserved or paid amount will be refunded and visible in your account within 24 hours.

    Depending on the card issuer and bank, it may in some cases take up to 10 working days before the refund is visible your account.
